Lucero’s Legendary Isis
Isis is a compact typey little girl with the most exceptional fleece. She was born with luminescence that can only be described as stellar. I guess that is what you get when you cross her grand-sire Caligula's Accoyo Poseiden with Peruvian Desert Sun, one of Misty Maiden's best offspring. She is incredibly dense coupled with a softness that feels like silk.
She has evidence of soft rolling skin and has been very hard to shear. She and her mom are the first to show signs of being hot on these warm Texas days. The densest and the finest are the first to overheat, I guess that's why they are the first to the water hose bath.
At her first show at 6 months old, in Topeka, KS, Isis won a 5th place in a very competitive class of nine. Some of the largest, most well-known farms were represented in this class. Judges comments were that even though she is the youngest in the class her fleece shows great density, luster, and character. He then said "Give this girl a couple of months to grow!"
Her second show was in Monroe, LA and she placed 3rd. The judge prefaced her placement with "A true white class... let the battle begin!". This was against a large and very competitive class.
At Alpacas in the Ozarks, Isis competed against some of the toughest farms. She placed 4th out of 10. The judges commented on her having one of the finest fleeces at 7 months old. She also placed 4th in a class of 13 in Oklahoma.

Hir first and second crias are both female with superior fleece density , low micron and excellent consistency. Retta, is an excellent mother with plenty of milk. Retta has a very soft handle to her fleece and we felt compleeled to repeat the breeding to FRA Lucero, who carries the famous Misty Maiden bloodlines will produce an awesome cria.
