MA Tuesday’s Surprize

The surprise was her light fawn color, given that her dam is true black and her sire is gray. But what a beautiful surprise! At less than 8 months of age, Tuesday placed 2nd at the 2004 North American Alpaca Show. This is one of the largest shows in the country and a second place in a show this competitive is truly an excellent showing!

Tuesday is an outstanding girl with flawless conformation and gorgeous fleece that exhibits great staple length, fleece architecture, and density. She has received a ribbon in every show in which she's been entered.

Her sire Silverado is from the Sollocata Region of Peru. That region is known for being able to produce a larger framed animal while still keeping the fineness in the fleece....which genetically is very difficult to do. Our breeding goal is for her to produce an exact copy of herself.

Her 1st cria was no disappointment. Skin black as coal, fleece full, fine, and fabulously brown.

Her second cria is a gorgeous shiny, rosy, fawn. One of those beautiful hard to describe colors. Beautiful structure in body and fleece.

Her third cria, a beautiful female,is sired by the superfine Invincible son, Snowmass Invincibly Hot. "Vince" has great color genetics behind him along with the superfine fleece attributes of Invincible and Legacy.

She has been bred to Sonwmass Portues for a Dec. '09 cria.

Her third cria, a little female is most fabulous of all. She is a medium to dark brown with black tips on her ears and black nose, gums and toenails. Her fleece is shiny with a richness that resembles Sable or Truffle... I think we will name her RED HOT TRUFFLE after all she gets this coloring from her great grand dad Snowmass Red Hot.

Tuesday is co-owned with The Alpaca Range
